Using GDSS in Hazard Management

A case study of disaster management practice. Through the current study, the researcher was able to find a new approach that differs from the traditional methods in order to deal with decision-making problems through following a set of criterias. The researchers have confirmed through this study that the decision-making process is formed by a set of criteria that lie in finding an opportunity for multiple negotiations with stakeholders, because the stakeholders are trying to reach a consensus while following the specified criteria and achieving the desired goals as well.
By following the research method that the researchers seek in this study, we find that they have proposed three basic steps, which are the pre-negotiation stage, the negotiation phase, the automatic negotiation, and the evaluation stages. Researchers were able to analyze the pre-negotiation phase between the human and the computer through which program agents try to show spaces for stakeholders in order to start the negotiation stage. During the negotiation stage, agents meet to negotiate a set of criteria in order to reach a specific solution. Finally, at the evaluation stage, we find that the analysis method is applied in order to determine the differences resulting from the inputs and the parameters as well. The results of the current study confirmed that the proposed method is an alternative and effective way to deal with the decision-making process in a variety of criteria.

Through the current study, the researcher relied on the method of consultation through the use of comprehensive forecasting based on PS computing deployed according to the integrated context called GDSS Typhoon Research and Design. The researcher was also able to use an assistive technology called the Web Service technology. Through this technique and these and these methods enable to define its introduction from the context of awareness in order to improve the efficiency of cooperation, in addition to determining the appropriate mechanism. Management .The researcher stressed through the current study the importance of Web-based Group Decision Support for Crisis called wGDSS. Through the research history of the researcher the method of reviewing and criticizing the literature that dealt with wGDSS in a simple and clear way. This has raised a large number of issues that need to be addressed by conducting a small-scale experiment using Groupystems ThinkTank, in order to manage food safety issues.
