       The importance of the current research is due to the extent of the importance of identifying the causes of the spread of the phenomenon of bullying in schools in Bahraini society and knowing the effects it causes on students, society and the family, and the importance of research is due to the necessity of developing solutions to get rid of that phenomenon.

 The issue of bullying is one of the controversial topics in recent times, which many researchers are keen to address and identify the causes of the problem and methods of treatment.

 The study aims to achieve the following:

  •  Knowing the causes of bullying.

  •  Knowing the factors involved in bullying.

 The linguistic definition of bullying

       Bullying is defined in language as a verb intended to be likened to a tiger in terms of color or character, and the effect of it is bullying him, and it is said (a person bully), meaning he became like a tiger, and it indicates anger, bad manners and brutality of morals, as if he has become an angry tiger, but bullying is the name of its source Bullying indicates imitation of a tiger, and bullying is a source of bullying. 


 Idiomatic definition of bullying

       Bullying is defined as a violent, offensive, and aggressive behavior by the individual towards a group of individuals and this behavior is undesirable and not desired as it works on making a bad influence, a phenomenon characterized by repetition and spread as it spreads widely among school students as it expresses the presence and imbalance of power and strength where the person bullying The strong and the one who has power over the weak person as the one with weak authority. 


 Procedural definition of bullying:

 Bullying includes all violent moral and material behaviors, and these actions are unannounced, and are issued by a group of students or a single student, whether they are female or male, and these acts are frequently repeated, especially in places where there is almost no control, and they occur towards the weaker pupils in the structure and the youngest years And the most shy, with the aim of bullying, blackmail, intimidation, oppression, or sexual blackmail, and this leads to the occurrence of opposite bullying and the processes of revenge and the final withdrawal from the study.
